raismth released version 3.0.1 (aligned to the updating of RAI Repaly )

Using Firefox or Iceweasel from version 3.6 of Debian Squeeze until the recent experimental version present in 10, without having to install moonlight and occupying the minimum of resources.

l 'uilizzo is fairly intuitive, but if it were needed here is a little guide: LINK

Cursed Firefox

I stand with their backs to the wall after almost 1 year after installation of Debian Lenny with 4 workstations in the office.

For convenience of end users as well as I preferred to install firefox iceweasel also

and the latest addition to icedove thunderbid.

The available versions of Lenny are a bit dated though for a while firefox v.8 gave problems with the 'authentication on some sites and was used iceweasel 3.5.

The 'error showed in full' performance shell, both with thinderbird that with firefox after the 'upgrade from version 8 to version 9

Changing add-on firefox / iceweasel (. Xpi)

The tests below were performed with Debian Wheezy and concerned the compatibility of an 'add-on in particular (rai_smooth_streaming_player_raismth sm +-2.0.0-fx.xpi), with new versions of the browser firefox / iceweasel, versions that now change each month and some have even wrecked.

During the 'running some tests I was asked to make on the modifications to a file (install.rdf) that was part of' installing an add-on, so I took the file. xpi complete .

The 'typical extension is that it installs the add-on in firefox and iceweasel.

RAI in Linux without moonlight

UPDATE: version 3 is out RAISMTH

No one has reinvented the wheel, do not worry.

The information on the web are long, and I'm talking about the 'addon for Iceweasel / Firefox named: raismth (Rai Smooth Streaming Player) now at version 2.0.0.

Tested on my Debian kernel wheezy and with amd-64-686-PAE with good results, I must admit that these guys can do!

For the evidence that was used Iceweasel with a clever pinning has been able to do the tests (all passed successfully!) In wheezy version 5, 6 and 7 of the unstable experimental, all in the Debian repository.

mmbarabba it's back again

This afternoon I have been unreachable for several hours.

Now I am back online with a novelty, I transferred to cabin & puppets Tophost Netsons .

I ventured even knowing who knows what is left but no one knows what he is, even if fishing around the net you can make an opinion.
