Problematic daemon status: 4 PID Could not access file for moblock ... failed!

Azzipicchia, were about two weeks since first started moblock without problems and today I find that part.

  Problematic daemon status: 4 

  Could not access PID file for moblock ...  failed! 

I move to the web search and discovered that all 'horizon appears an' other application that does the same job: peer guardian linux!

An old friend as I used it with pleasure on winXP, so I launch into evidence and after having removed moblock, blockcontrol mobloquer and install:

  # Aptitude install-gui pgld pglcmd pgl 

but even here the fate denies me a glorious destiny, usually error.

I go back on my feet and I start looking for the solution that does not take long to arrive.

Raismth 3.0.2 in Firefox / Iceweasel 11.0

The newest version of the browser that is updated every month (which du balls!) I proceeded to do some tests to check the operation of ' addon raismth arrived now at version 3.0.2 .

For testing we used always the same as Debian, but also the beloved Windoze XP version and 7.

For the browser version 11 is now available for both Firefox and Iceweasel.

As usual, all right.

An 'other school with Debian

I am pleased to announce that 'other school has been debianized.

The merit is not mine, but part of the Thanks are given to a teacher who has done the job and has taken the burden of responsibility. (Thank's to BOZ)

The middle school Medesano (PR) has now different PC with Debian, 1 donated by Parma trashware other than 4 (I think) recovered using the technique of computer cannibalism.

Given the age of fearless youth instead of Debian4children Debian4trashware it is preferred by the addition of some applications required by the same teacher.

We are now proceeding to the configuration of the network, linking all the machines now move independently even if all connected to the internet.

SUKA backup: the pants of iron to the PC

I maintain a server for about 4 years for personal use, is installed on Debian Lenny, mail servers, FTP and LAMP.

Average uptime of about 4 months, on 24/24 7/7 and for now still a virgin from attacks, but I do not want to bet on fututro.

The machine is an old AthlonXP2500 doppato with 2 GB of RAM and two HD (120 +40), where the first operating system resides in the home as a separate partition for www and FTP, while the second is used for incremental backups with backup2l.

During my absence I noticed a strange email problems related to backup, intrigued I have discovered that the deceased was dedicated HD.

OK no problem, it would have been worse if he had broken the main HD, with the backup configuration files I had and more but I had to reinstall everything.

It was necessary to find a solution even cheaper because the server is done with a PC and the recovered funds were spent on the 'purchase of beer.

Eventually, however, the MM team managed to create a fake RAID mirror out of sync (backup suka) that allows a system recovery and data in about 30 minutes of work.
