Problematic daemon status: 4 PID Could not access file for moblock ... failed!

Azzipicchia, were about two weeks since first started moblock without problems and today I find that part.

  Problematic daemon status: 4 

  Could not access PID file for moblock ...  failed! 

I move to the web search and discovered that all 'horizon appears an' other application that does the same job: peer guardian linux!

An old friend as I used it with pleasure on winXP, so I launch into evidence and after having removed moblock, blockcontrol mobloquer and install:

  # Aptitude install-gui pgld pglcmd pgl 

but even here the fate denies me a glorious destiny, usually error.

I go back on my feet and I start looking for the solution that does not take long to arrive.

Raismth 3.0.2 in Firefox / Iceweasel 11.0

The newest version of the browser that is updated every month (which du balls!) I proceeded to do some tests to check the operation of ' addon raismth arrived now at version 3.0.2 .

For testing we used always the same as Debian, but also the beloved Windoze XP version and 7.

For the browser version 11 is now available for both Firefox and Iceweasel.

As usual, all right.

Using Firefox or Iceweasel from version 3.6 of Debian Squeeze until the recent experimental version present in 10, without having to install moonlight and occupying the minimum of resources.

Cursed Firefox

I stand with their backs to the wall after almost 1 year after installation of Debian Lenny with 4 workstations in the office.

For convenience of end users as well as I preferred to install firefox iceweasel also

and the latest addition to icedove thunderbid.

The available versions of Lenny are a bit dated though for a while firefox v.8 gave problems with the 'authentication on some sites and was used iceweasel 3.5.

The 'error showed in full' performance shell, both with thinderbird that with firefox after the 'upgrade from version 8 to version 9

 / Home / user / programs / thunderbird / libxpcom.so:
 libxul.so: can not open shared object file: No such file or directory
 Could not load XPCOM.

Changing add-on firefox / iceweasel (. Xpi)

The tests below were performed with Debian Wheezy and concerned the compatibility of an 'add-on in particular (rai_smooth_streaming_player_raismth sm +-2.0.0-fx.xpi), with new versions of the browser firefox / iceweasel, versions that now change each month and some have even wrecked.

During the 'running some tests I was asked to make on the modifications to a file (install.rdf) that was part of' installing an add-on, so I took the file. xpi complete .

The 'typical extension is that it installs the add-on in firefox and iceweasel.
