Opera 10.60 pronta per html5

The web is moving quickly these days, and Opera would like to stay at the forefront of open web standards. Opera has been promoting HTML5 since the beginning (and HTML5 actually has its roots at Opera), and in this build we have added four features related to HTML5 and other open standards, and an update for a previous implementation:

• WebM support for HTML5 video (demo)
• HTML5 Offline Web Applications (demo)
• Geolocation (demo -- only partially implemented on FreeBSD/Linux, more work to come)
• Web Workers (demo)
• Major update for Cross-Document Messaging (demo)

Questo e tanto altro ancora nei nuovi snapshot che ormai cadono regolarmente con una certa frequenza .

Come sempre è disponibile il pacchetto .deb per diverse architetture , da installare coodamente con :

#dpkg -i opera_......deb

Provate la differenza di un browser tra i più veloci al mondo e ricco di features , di cui ho già parlato in diversi altri articoli .

Da metere in rilievo i test del nuovo browser con il nuovo e più sicuro flash player 10.1.53.64 .

scaricato in tar.gx e copiato in /usr/lib/opera/plugins
